Let’s take kids off the conveyer belt of education and give them opportunities to learn about the things that interest them beyond the subject areas we teach and even beyond what it says they should learn in each grade level. Learning doesn’t have to fit inside a box.
GRADES 5 & 6 FLEXIBLE LEARNING INTEREST PROGRAM (FLIP)
FLIP is a method where Ranfurly Primary School is able to challenge your child to think beyond their classroom. All young people develop cognitive understandings of the world around them and we believe we are able to provide them with the environment to nurture this.
Our aim is to empower your child to “choose their subjects” based on interest but at the same time provide exposure to all key learning requirements of the Victorian Curriculum. Our key goal is to have your child gaining knowledge and then using that knowledge to effect the lives of ‘someone else’.
