The open relationship and mutual respect between staff, parents and students at Ranfurly Primary School encourages a positive, happy learning environment. As a relatively new school, Ranfurly is in the unique position of not having long-term existing community structures.
The school currently operates by the neighbourhood schools policy, which draws specific boundaries around the area that defines our school population. This area is made up of existing and rapidly developing housing estates and we have a community that is consistently establishing itself.
The school has become the social centre for this community. The development of the Sunsmart and Uniform policies were examples of our response to unique community needs.
